Even if you don’t have school age children you’ll probably still be affected by the half term holidays. Groups and classes either stop for the week or are infiltrated by bigger children!

The good news is that if you’re working during half term week, the rush hour traffic is usually better! Of course Bumpkins Nursery is open as usual next week, but if you have a day off and you’re looking for some things to do with your little ones, here are some suggestions..

Pirate Party! Special Storytime at Cambridge Library.

This is a free event for children and their families. There will be lots of pirate stories and you can create your own pirate flag!

Musical Bumps

Family Feltmaking

If you fancy trying something different, this feltmaking day at Thriplow Village Hall is suitable for all the family.

Creative Movement Workshops

Creative Movement are running workshops for toddlers and children all week. Our favourite is the Jack and The Flum Flum Tree Workshop, which will explore the Julia Donaldson story through dance, movement, storytelling and art. Here’s the full schedule.

Family Drawing at the Fitzwilliam

From 10am-4 pm on Wednesday 18th February, the Fitzwilliam are running a free family drawing session. Find out more here.

Buggy Bootcamp at Wimpole Hall

If you and your baby/ toddler are free on Monday mornings, buggy bootcamp is running as normal during half term. Find out more and book here. 10-11am. Afterwards you could wander around the farm!

Wild art at Wicken Fen

Wrap up warm on Tuesday and create some wild art using natural Wicken Fen materials
