Bumpkins Nature Rangers

Our Nature Rangers sessions are based on the Forest School ethos, offering our children the chance to try more adventurous activities.

As you can tell from our latest gallery pictures, the children have the opportunity to be physically active in the fresh air, whatever the weather!
(Although we were incredibly lucky to have such a dry, bright Autumn this year!)

The children have been printing, stencilling and clay modelling with leaves. They have used conkers to follow the letters of their names and create amazing conker snails.

They also experimented using hammers for a Japanese leaf printing activity called Hapa-zome.  This is where the children collect leaves and fold them in a piece of calico fabric, then use a hammer to release the ‘juices’ of the leaves creating a print of the leaf on the fabric.

We hope you enjoy our Nature Rangers gallery, and that it inspires you to explore the great outdoors with your child!
