Tips on How to Eat Seven-A-Day

I’m sure you’ve read that the latest government guidelines for healthy eating state that we should eat seven portions of fruit and vegetables every day. If this seems like a difficult task to incorporate these into your diet, we’ve put together our favourite “secretly good” recipes to help you achieve this target.  Even the fussiest eaters will enjoy these stealth fruit and vegetables!

  1. Butternut Squash Soup

    This is so easy and really delicious!When the butternut squash is blended it gives a smooth, rich, creamy taste. You can add chilli for an extra kick.Screen Shot 2014-05-09 at 11.44.50

  2. Chocolate and Courgette cake

    Our local deli does an amazing version of this! Their recipe is a secret, but this cake is a pleasing substitute. Courgettes make the cake lovely and moist, as well as making it very, very healthy ;)Screen Shot 2014-05-09 at 11.45.53

  3. Secret Vegetable Bolognaise

  4. Blueberry, Spinach and honey smoothie

    This is absolutely delicious and in tests, our spinach refusing 4 year old asked for seconds!

  5. Vegetable Mash

  6. Home made ice cream

    Making your own ice cream is labour intensive, but this no added sugar recipe is worth the extra effort!

    Macaroni Cheese and Vegetables
